Srinagar
A five-day national workshop ‘Connecting People to Nature’ organized by Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar commenced here today.
The workshop is aimed to provide a forum for exchanging the ideas among the scientists, technocrats with diverse backgrounds, and at the same time involve officials of various government agencies responsible for policy making and environmental conservation.
Issues related to the need for taking measures to safe guard the environment for the wellbeing of the humanity and functioning of the economy depending on the responsible management of the natural resources would also be discussed
The Workshop is being coordinated by faculty members of the NIT Srinagar.
