A six-year-old boy was mauled by a leopard in Pulwama district on Saturday, locals said.
They said that the body of Hazim (6), son of Abdul Hameed Padroo, was found in a bush in Banderpora village of the district.
His body was taken to District Hospital Pulwama for post-mortem.
The parents of the boy said that the leopard attacked their son last evening.
“All the villagers were searching for him until 2 am, but couldn’t find him anywhere. Today morning, we recovered his body from bushes,” they said
