A youth, who had joined militant ranks, on Monday returned home in southern part of Kashmir following an appeal by his parents.
It comes three days after footballer- turned-militant Majid Khan laid down arms and returned home following an appeal by his mother which was doing rounds on social media.
“Responding to the appeal of parents one more youth, who had joined militants, returns home in South Kashmir,” Jammu and Kashmir police tweeted.
However, the police has refused to divulge further details about the boy citing his “security and safety” as a reason.
