An army man was critically injured on Thursday night after India and Pakistan troops exchanged fire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kamal Kote Uri sector in the northern part of Kashmir.
Army man identified as Kuldeep sing of 8 Batallion of Rashtriya Rifles has sustained injuries and has been referred to army’s 92 base hospital Badamibagh, Srinagar for treatment.
An official from the police department said that armies of India and Pakistan exchanged fire at 2:00 during the night and there was no immediate report of any losses during the firing that took place around midnight.
