The Jammu and Kashmir legislature was Monday adjourned after opposition created an uproar over the attacks on Gujjar Muslims allegedly by RSS and BJP activists in Kathua.

“Our gujjar Muslims living in Kathua were attacked by RSS and BJP people. Their houses were burnt. Members were beaten ruthlessly,” senior NC MLA Mian Altaf alleged.

The NC legislator was joined by opposition party members who demanded action against the attackers.

Altaf began by shouting that Gujjar families have been attacked in the Kathua region by the RSS and BJP.

As the proceedings began after the break opposition stormed into well, kicking chairs and tables, threw away mics.

Other lawmakers, begun shouting that Muslims are not safe.

All the opposition members stormed into the well and begun throwing the mic’s and kicking chairs and tables.

They raised slogans like “RSS Sarkar hai hai”.
