Amid-call for shutdown by joint resistance leadership, authorities have imposed restrictions in Islamabad district of south Kashmir on Friday.

According to District Magistrate Islamabad “strict restrictions would be in the whole district of Islamabad to prevent the breach of peace and loss of life in view of the prevailing law and order situation.”

Except for medical ambulances and health official vehicles, movement in the town will be barred by the heavy deployment of security forces.

Meanwhile, the railway authorities have also suspended the Banihal- Srinagar train for Friday.

The JKBOSE has postponed the 11th class exam for security reasons but exams under Kashmir university will be on time.
