SRINAGAR: A bear attacked a person in Uri and he was shifted to hopistal in a pretty serious condition, reports reaching from Uri said.
The victim of the man versus beast conflict was identified as Ghulamuddin, son of Nooruddin, a resident of Zamora Pattan in Uri. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital in Uri.
Reports said Ghulam was on his way home when he was attacked by a bear at around 9 am at Zampopatan. He was rescued by his relatives and neighbours. He has injuries in legs, head and the chest. After the doctors gave him first aid, he was immediately shifted to the district hospital Baramulla.
