To check growing menace of adulterations in fuel, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided three petrol pumps in city and took fuel samples for necessary sampling.
According to KNS, CBI teams carried raids at at-least three petrol pumps in the City including the areas of MA Road, Bye Pass and Batamaloo. The team collected diesel and petrol samples from these pumps and sent it for investigations.
Reports informed that the raids were conducted in view of the complaints registered by people about adulterations in fuel. The CBI team, according to reports was led by Inspector Showkat Ahmad along with the Dy Sp SK Sharma.
