A spontaneous shotdown is being observed in Hajin town of Bandipora district in northern part of Kashmir after clashes between youth and government forces erupted in the area.
Reports said that youth pelted stones on a patrolling party of army early morning in the town.
Later, a police party reached the spot and fired several tear smoke shells to disperse the youth, triggering brief clashes.
