The Union Government on Wednesday appointed the former Chief Secretary and presently Advisor (Administrative Affairs) to the Chief Minister, J&K, BR Sharma as Additional Secretary, Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The order to this effect was issued today by the Secretary, Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) and reads “The appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Brij Raj Sharma IAS, (JK:1984), presently in the cadre, as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs.
