Police have recovered and arrested two persons in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday.
Police sources said that one AK 56 rifle, a magazine and 8 rounds were recovered from two persons in Damhal Hanji Pora this morning.
They said that the ammunition was “stolen” from Damhal Hanji Pora when people attacked it following death of popular militant commander Burhan Wani on July 08, 2016.
The detained duo has been identified as Saddam Yousuf Dar, r/o Ahmad Abad DH Pora and Gowhar Ahmad Thokar, r/o Qounsarbal, DH Pora.
Police have filed an FIR number 103 against the duo.
