Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Syed Abid Rashid on Tuesday visited the critically injured fireman Abdul Majid Wani at SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
Abdul Majid was critically injured after he fell from the third storey of a building which had caught fire at Koker bazaar Srinagar on Sunday evening.
Syed Abid while consoling the family of the injured fireman assured of best possible treatment as well a to support to his family. He said Wani’s efforts prevented a major catastrophe and saved not just properties worth millions but many lives also.
Speaking to his family, he said the district administration owes Wani a lot for his valiant efforts and would make sure that Wani is not just offered the best possible treatment and medical care but is also appropriately rewarded.
Dr Shah also handed a relief amount instructed the CMO Srinagar, to ensure Wani is offered the best medical care and contribution his family.
