The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister on Sunday urged India and Pakistan to develop cordial relations with each other.

Media outlet The Statesman has quoted the Chief Minister saying, “On our borders, there is a bloodbath going on. The country is on the path of development, it is what PM talks about, but the opposite is happening in our state,” she said at the passing out parade of new Police constables at Subsidiary Training Centre in Baramulla.

Meanwhile, Mehbooba wrote on Twitter, “Attending passing out parade of new police constables at the Subsidiary Training Centre in Baramulla. I appreciate the role played by J&K police in maintaining peace in the state. They have given supreme sacrifices in the line of duty.”
