Doctors Association Kashmir on Wednesday organized a health cum screening camp for Media fraternity at Mir Complex, Nowgam on the outskirts of Srinagar.
Various Media personnel from different media organizations attended the camp in which routine baseline laboratory investigation, ECG,X Rays and Ultrasonography was done in addition to routine clinical examination. “This is for the first time that such a mega camp was conducted under one roof for the media fraternity in the valley,” a statement of DAK said.
The Doctors who attended the camp include Dr Tariq Paddar (Physician Specialist), Dr Manzoor Teli (Chest Physician), Dr Sajad Kathroo (Radiologist), Dr Arsalan Amir (Radiologist),Dr Mahim Sarwar (Sonologist),Dr Irfan Shams (ENT specialist) Dr Masood Rashid, (Critical Care Specialist), Dr Masood ul Hassan (Physician), ,Dr Sidarth Bindroo (Diabetologist),Dr Wasim Ashiq (Dental Surgeon),Dr Adil Malik (Dental Surgeon).The Camp was jointly coordinated by Dr Mir Mushtaq and Dr Ijtaba Shafi.
Dr Mir Mushtaq, Spokesperson of DAK, said that today’s event will be a routine affair and will be repeated twice a year. He further said that DAK is committed in its social service in addition to its own duties towards people.
