The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered the closure of all educational institutions in Kashmir on Friday as a “preventive measure’.

Divisional commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Khan said, “All educational institutions, including universities, will remain closed on Friday.”

Meanwhile an official spokesman said the District Magistrate Srinagar, has ordered restrictions under Section 144 of CrPC will remain in force under the jurisdiction of Police Stations Nowhatta, Khanyar, Rainawari, M R Gunj, Safakadal and partially in Kralkhud and Maisuma, in district Srinagar on October 13 (Friday) as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident.

Meanwhile, according to Divisional Administration Kashmir, class work in all educational institutions will remain suspended in Kashmir Valley on October 13 (Friday).
