National Conference veteran and former chief minister of J&K Dr Farooq Abdullah has net worth of Rs 23, 03,85,154. This was stated by him in his affidavit to Election Commission of India.

With Cash in hand of Rs 50,000, Dr Abdullah has FDR in banks of Rs 67,37,004 and saving balance in J&K Bank, HDFC and SBI to the tune of  Rs 84,34,186.

A medical graduate from Swami Man Singh Medical College Jaipur Rajasthan where he passed out in 1962, Dr Abdullah, 81 has investment in Reliance shares of Rs 16, 63,964.

Owner of two cars, Grand Vitara and Scorpio, both 2007 model, the value of the vehicles he stated is Rs 10 lakhs.

The total value of his agricultural land is Rs 1.80 Cr in which he has 6 kanals and 14 marlas at Khulmulla Ganderbal and 2 kanals 9 marlas at Nandpora Srinagar.

In non-agricultural segment, Dr Abdullah has 1 kanal & 8 marlas at Soura with approximate current market value of Rs 45 lakhs. The worth of his 1/3 share in commercial establishment at Dhananji building in Srinagar is 6.50 Cr.

The two residential houses of Dr Abdullah at 40-Gupkar Srinagar and Bhatindi Jammu is of Rs 12.50 Cr.

About his wife, Dr Abdullah has stated that she lives in London since 1990 and there is no information about her assets or dues.

His main rival from ruling People’s Democratic Party Nazir Ahmad Khan, 55 has a net worth of Rs 16,50,000 and dues pending of Rs 4007.

A resident of Aripanthan  Budgam, Nazir has bank balance of Rs 8,00,000 in J&K Bank and Bank of India and cash in hand of Rs 50,000.

He has stated that he owns one kanal of agricultural land at Warihama with approximate value of Rs 8 lakhs.

Khan as his residential accommodation has shown Custodian flat at Sanat Nagar on rent basis. He has shown pending dues to electricity department of Rs 2000 and  telephone/mobile charges pending Rs 2007.

Khan’s wife has cash in hand of Rs 20,000 and owns a vehicle Etios Cross, model 2015 of worth Rs 6.85 lakhs.

His dependent has life insurance policy of Rs 3,00,000
