Appealing Prime Minister Narinder Modi to intervene and help in finding the missing MBBS student Suhail Aijaz, a resident of Marsari Kupwra, independent leader and MLA Langate Er Rasheed has expressed his deep sympathy with the families of Liyakat Ali Ktariya who along with his two brothers Mushtaq Ahmad Kataria and Aijaz Ahmad met with an accident near Handwara and two of them succumb and father of the missing student is battling for life at SKIMS.

The spokesman said Er Rasheed visited families of Liyakat Ali and Mushtaq Ahmad and expressed solidarity with the families. Speaking on the occasion Rasheed said that if security agencies and the state government had shown desired will then, yesterday’s incident might not have occurred.

The spokesman quoted the Rasheed saying “pain of the family whose two members are dead, one is battling for life at SKIMS and another one is missing in Odisha cannot be measured. The state government didn’t show any interest in persuading Odisha police to trace out the missing MBBS student.”

In a statement, Rasheed has appealed PM Narinder Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh to feel the pain of the family of the missing student especially when the incident has taken two more precious lives, adding that father of the missing student is also battling for life.

Meanwhile, Rasheed paid an amount of Rs 25,000/= out of Joint Effort Trust (JET) for treatment of Aijaz Kataria.
