At least a dozen shops and a private school building were completely destroyed in a fire incident on Tuesday in Khurhama Lolab area of district Kupwara.
Reports said that the fire broke out around 11: 45 on Tuesday night in Khurhama area of Lolab which later immediately engulfed the neighbouring structures.
The fire was doused by the collective efforts of fire and emergency services, locals and the police but only after the property worth lakhs was turned into ashes, sources said
However, the cause of the fire was not known yet.
