A three-storied house was gutted at Kakoo village of Gandoh in Bhaderwah constituency of Doda district here on Sunday.
Reports said that fire broke out in the house of Arshad Hussain s/o Abdul Rashid Sheikh of Kakoo village which is about 8KM away from Gandoh and the blazes soon engulfed the entire house.
Locals said before the arrival of fire and emergency tean, the three storied house was completely gutted in fire.“ However they added at local level there were some rescue operation.
The flames were brought under control after hectic efforts, but till then the property worth several lakhs were consumed by the flames.
The cause of fire is said to LPG cylinder leakage. No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at police station Gandoh and police said investigation has started.
