A passenger bus on Tuesday morning bumped into a mosque in Preng area of Kangan in Ganderbal district injuring five passengers.
Reports said a bus bearing registration number JK03-2011 travelling from Sonamarg to Srinagar skidded off the highway and bumped into outer wall of Jamia Masjid Preng injuring five passengers including a women.
The injured were rushed to Trauma Hospital Kangan for treatment.
They were identified as Javaid Ahmad Raina of Rayil Sonamarg, Shamim Ahmad Khatana of Ganiwan Kangan, Musharraf Ahmad Theekry of Mamar Kangan, Mohd Rafiq and Mubeena Akhtar of Hari Ganiwan Kangan.
Police have taken cognizance of the case, said an official.
