Srinagar: Government forces on Saturday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Batwina area of district Gandebal.
An Official said that a joint team of Army and Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police cordoned off the area after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
“The CASO was launched after receiving the inputs of the movement of militants in the area,” an official from the police department said.
However, the search was going on when this report was filled.
