SRINAGAR
Srinagar police on Wednesday has arrested four drug peddlers and recovered the huge amount of contraband substances from their possession.
The spokesman said Police Station Batamaloo apprehended four persons namely Ajaz Ahmad Khan resident of Diyarwani Batamaloo, Yasir Ahmad Pindoo resident of Firdousabad Batamaloo, Abid Shakeel Mir resident of Dal Hassanyaar Habakadal and Majeed Iqbal Khan resident of Baranpather Batamaloo Srinagar.
The spokesman said they have recovered 1215 bottles of codeine phosphate from their possession.
A case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up.
