Government on Monday barred Hurriyat Conference (m) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq from leading the funeral prayers of his uncle who passed away in the wee hours today.
Mirwaiz, who is under house arrest for past three weeks, tried to defy the detention, however, he was arrested outside his Nigeen residence by the Jammu and Kashmir police.
