SRINAGAR
An unidentified man hurled a grenade on a police party during a security check in Nowgam area in city outskirts.
According to police, the grenade did not explode.
“The assailant was in a Maruti car. Police tried to intercept him, but he threw a grenade, which did not explode. The attacker managed to escape from the scene,” said a police official.
