The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday announced winter vacations for all the schools in Kashmir division and winter zone of Jammu province.
The winter vacations for primary to class 8th will start from December 2. The winter vacations for High and Higher Secondary classes will begin from December 11.
The last working day of classes up to 8th standard shall be 2 December and the winter vacation shall be observed from 4 December to 3 March 2018, while as December 9 will be last working day for class 9th to 12th and the winter vacation shall be observed from 11 December To 24 February 2018, a government order reads.
