JAMMU: Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu announced setting up of dry port which has been a major handicap in the export sector. He said that the government has in principle agreed with Dubai based DP world to set up a dry port as a Joint Venture. It will be a logistic hub, he said in his speech.
This, he said will help improve the import density in state favour. State’s import orders are at Rs 40,000 crore a year which is almost half of the SGDP.
