SRINAGAR:  Joint Resistance leadership including Syed Ali Geelani, Dr Mirwaiz Muhammad Omar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik expressed their deep shock and grief over the loss of precious lives of innocent civilians in the Tral grenade attack.

In a brief statement, the three leaders said that rampant construction of camps and bunkers by forces in the densely populated areas of nook and corner of the war-torn state has made lives of innocent people miserable and vulnerable.

Meanwhile JKLF leader Mohammad Yasin Malik in a separate statement said Kashmir cannot tolerate hatred. He has asked clerics of various shades to stop spreading this hatred or otherwise people will boycott them.

Terming this new phenomenon of hate mongering in the name of religion and creed by a section of so-called Ulema and preachers as most unfortunate, JKLF chairman said that a nation that on daily basis is losing its young and old while fighting oppression, cannot tolerate hatred and division in the name of religion. He said that our great scholars and predecessors have laid down a great principle which teaches to hold fast to ones   (creed) without teasing the others.
