Police on Tuesday issued an advisory asking people not to venture at encounter site in Karan Nagar, Srinagar till the area is completely sanitized.
SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray said that since there is the possibility of live shells in and around the gunfight site, people are advised not to venture near the encounter site till the area is completely sanitized.
“The area is not clear yet and it needs proper sanitization,” SSP said.
Pertinently two LeT militants were killed in 27–hrs- long gunfight.
