A delegation of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Inc) headed by its President, Javid Ahmad Tenga had a detailed meeting with the Chairman J&K Bank on Tuesday and discussed various issues related to trade.

According to chamber spokesman, the issues related to non insured flood victims, debt recovery, Dastkaar Finance Scheme were discussed and the delegation also discussed the condition of tourism trade.

Spokesman said Chairman expressed sympathy towards the victims and assured that the matter will be taken up with the concerned quarters to work out possibilities for help.

defaulters will not be spared.”

With regard to Dastkaar Finance Scheme, he has assured that necessary amendments will be done in the scheme to benefit the lowest class of artisans and also said that bank will participate in the road shows and other FAM tours wherever possible outside the state.

During the meeting, general trade issues were also discussed.
