People in Kashmir prayed for the speedy recovery of ailing Hurriyat Chairman (G) Syed Ali Geelani who on Thursday afternoon flew to Delhi for medical check up.
Reports reaching here said that while offering congregational Friday prayers, people prayed for Geelani’s health in many parts of the valley and in some parts of Jammu.
Pertinently, Geelani is facing serious health related problems from last week.
Meanwhile, Syed Nayeem Geelani while speaking to Kashmir Life from New Delhi said that senior cardiologist Dr Sameer Kaul checked upon Geelani and advised some medical tests and prescribed some medicine.
“The reports of the tests will be available tomorrow and only then further medication is possible,” Nayeem said. “As of now, Geelani Sahab is feeling better.”
