In the ongoing 18th All India Twenty-20 Cricket Federation cup, organized by J&K State Twenty-20 Cricket Association, 16 teams from across India are participating in the tournament, an association statement said on Sunday.

“The tournament is being played at Sports Ground Charligund Awantipora, at Sports Field of GHS Lajurah Pulwama and Victor Force’s Cricket Stadium Jawbiara, Awantipora.”

“In the first match played between J&K Greens &  Gujarat,  J&K Greens Won the toss and elected to field first, and scored 136. Chasing the target J&K Greens won the match comfortably Captain Mohammad Saleem was man of the match,” the statement said.

In the second match, Delhi NCR won the toss & elected to field J&K Yellows scored 174 but Delhi NCR could only score 135, hence their loss, it added.

In the third match played at Charligund between J&K Reds & Pulwama 11’s, J&K Reds won the match by 6 wickets Fayaz Ahmad took 4 wickets, the statement informed.

Pertinent to mention here, J&K lifted the title of 17th All India Twenty 20 Cricket Federation cup last year which was also hosted by the J&K State Twenty 20 Cricket Federation.

The statement maintained that the association is managing all the boarding and lodging facilities for the sports guests from mainland India. It added that the final of the tournament shall be played on August 30.
