Meteorological department here on Friday predicted rainfall for five days in Kashmir valley from Sunday, saying the change in weather will decrease the intensity of heat across the region.
Talking to KNS, Director Meteorology Sonum Lotus said that Kashmir valley will received rainfall from June 21 to June 25.
“Yes, Jammu and Kashmir will get moderate rainfall by June 21 and same will last till 25 of this month,” he said.
Srinagar recorded 32.6°C temperature on Friday while as Jammu witnessed the maximum temperature of 41.9°C.
In Ladakh region of the state sky will be partly cloudy and maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 22°C and 09°C respectively.
