At least one CRPF personnel was killed and two CRPF men were critically injured after suspected militants on Saturday night attacked a CRPF camp in Lethpora district of Pulwama.
An official said that suspected militants attacked during the night hours and are still hiding inside the camp.
Militants stormed the group training center of the camp of CRPF around 2: 00 am on Saturday night.
“Soon after the attack, reinforcement of army’s special forces and SOG rushed to the spot and cordoned off the whole area amid fierce gunfight.”
The official added that police and army are on the job, intermittent firing was on.
