SRINAGAR: At the end of fourteenth round of counting involving slightly less than ninety thousand votes, officials said Dr Farooq Abdullah has taken a decisive lead. He is now leading by 10063 votes.
So far the votes counted are 52217 of which Dr Farooq has taken 30057 votes as PDPs Nazir Khan got 19994.
The counting is gradually going and is slightly boring. Since there are not many votes in the EVM, the agents kill time in gossip. There are various rumours coming out from the counting hall. There, however, have not been any battles between the parties though various points of discord were seen for most of the half of the day.
