Four residential houses were damaged on Sunday late evening in a massive fire in Shulipora village of Budgam district.
According to reports, the fire broke out in the residential house of Abdul Aziz Ganie house and spread to nearby three houses of Muhammad Yousuf Ganie, Ali Muhammad Ganie, and Ali Muhammad Dar of Makdampora area of the village.
According to the sources, soon after the fire broke out, locals joined by fire tenders struggled hard to bring the fire under control.
All the items inside the houses including valuable records, clothing, furniture and food grains were destroyed in the mishap.
However, the cause of the blaze was not immediately clear and no one was injured in the incident.
