Traffic on the Leh highway has been suspended following fresh snowfall since Tuesday night.
However, the Srinagar-Jammu highway and historic Mughal road are through for traffic, a traffic police official said on Wednesday morning.
He said there was fresh snowfall at Zojila and Meenmarg on the 434-km-long Srinagar-Leh highway. ‘We have suspended traffic as a precautionary measure to avoid an accident as the road had become slippery,’ he said.
