National Conference senior leader and Khanyar legislator, Ali Muhammad Sagar Wednesday urged the state government for talks on the Kashmir issue, terming it prerequisite for implementation of the budget.

He was speaking during the discussion on grants in the Legislative Assembly.

While interrupting finance minister, Sagar said that beyond the budget the issue is that this all is possible only if peace prevails and steps need to be taken for that.

Hold talks if you want peace to prevail and we don’t need this cosmetic treatment,” he said, “please leave ego’s apart and create an atmosphere for dialogue.”
