Omar Abdullah opposition leader and former chief minister on Thursday raising the issues of public importance during Zero Hour in Legislative Assembly demanded clarification about the 10th class result of pellet victim Insha Mushtaq.

He said in newspapers her result was shown successful, while as per JKBOSE result she has been declared pass ‘but need improvement.’

Omar said that there was a dire need to revisit the result of Insha as she could not attend the Math Paper because of blindness. He sought to consider the marks obtained by her in Music Paper for the Maths paper.

On Tuesday when people know from media reports that Insha cleared the Class 10 board examinations Chief Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and others joined the thousands of people in Kashmir to congratulate Insha for her success.
