Moments after Mufti Muhammad Sayeed said that there will be no separate home land for Kashmiri Pandits, former chief minister Omar Abdullah took to twitter to accuse Mufti of ‘U-turn’.
“Will someone please remind Mufti Sb about his answer given to me during Gov. address discussion regarding Jagti type townships in the valley,” Omar wrote.
Omar said Mufti was categorical in his assertion that it is the intention of his Govt to build segregated townships for Pandits rather than integration.
Mufti earlier told the House that he will take all the stake holders in confidence before taking a final call on his vow delivered to New Delhi regarding pandit settlement.
