Para cricketer Amir Lone selected for Indian team

The captain of the Jammu and Kashmir’s para cricket team, Amir Hussain Lone, has been selected for Indian Para Cricket team.

General Secretary Para Indian Cricket Dr Siddiq Qureshi while confirming it to Kashmir Life, said that they are organizing international para cricket tournament at Lucknow and Delhi in December this year.

Afghanistan and Malaysia would be participating in the event.  “Amir has been selected for the tournament and we are hopeful that he will perform well.”

Amir, who shot to fame last year, while acknowledging the selection said, “I am very excited and eager to play in the tournament. I have been selected in the Indian team after the recently concluded selection trials held at Lucknow.”
