The People from Uri, Nambla, Garkote, Salikote, Dardkote, Isham, Uroosa Gowalta, Sultandaki, Nawa Runda and Kamalkote held a protest demonstration in Uri Town against BSNL authorities for not installing Tower and not giving regular service in areas.
They alleged poor Mobile, Internet services in an area. They agitating people also alleged most of the times they remain out of service for the days and nobody bothers about the public plight.
They were raising slogans against BSNL and alleged that officials of the BSNL have totally surrendered before the private companies and were deliberately providing poor services so that people switch over to other private companies.
They sought the intervention of Chief General Manager Telecom (BSNL), J&K Circle into the matter.
Nadeem Akbar Abasi from Gowalta area requested SDM Uri and local MLA Dr Sajad Shafi Uri to take up the matter with cellular authorities on war footing bases.
When contacted Tehsildar Uri Mohammed Aslam said that our office dispatched a letter to higher authorities regarding this matter.
