Refuting the claims about the militant attack on Airforce station Koel, police on Tuesday said that the information is preliminary in nature.
“No attack on the airforce station Koel. ASF vehicle while returning from a nearby Water point had the exchange of fire with militants. The area under cordon. Information is preliminary in nature. @JmuKmrPolice”, Jammu Kashmir Police tweeted.
Earlier, there were reports about a suspected militant attack on the guard’s post of Airforce station in Malangpora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
