Jammu and Kashmir police today claimed to have busted a gang allegedly involved in making fake licenses and other forged documents by arresting two persons from Ganderbal district of central Kashmir.

Police raided a shop titled as “Kaka Studio” and arrested one, Tawseef Ahmad Sofi and later on arrested his accomplice Aamir Hassan Rather, both residents of Saloora-Ganderbal , a police spokesman said.

He said fake stamps, forged documents, and fake identity cards, a computer and accessories were recovered from their possession.

Police have registered a case (F.I.R NO.249/2017) under section 420 RPC in the concerned police station. Investigation of the case is underway and more arrests are expected, the spokesman said.
