SRINAGAR: Police in Baramulla said they have rounded up two youth for questioning for going beyond the permissible limit towards the LoC. They are being questioned right now.
Highly placed sources said that the two youth, a residents of Baramulla, were permitted to go up to Slamabad but they attempted going slightly beyond. They were rounded up near Kalgi, the village that witnessed the fierce gun battle between militants and the army. Three militants were killed in the encounter in which two houses also went up in smoke. Some civilians were injured.
“They were recording some video and we arrested them,” a senior police officer in Baramulla said. “We are probing them and once we are satisfied, we will set them free.”
Names of the two Baramulla youth was not immediately known.
