SRINAGAR: Police is seeking help in identification of a female corpse.
A spokesman said a partially decomposed female dead body was recovered from the fields of Khushipora HMT Srinagar. The dead body is lying in the Pantha Chowk mortuary.
“If anybody has any information regarding the identity of the dead body, kindly contact police station Parimpora on 9596770558, 9596770883 or Police Control Room Kashmir on 100,” the spokesman said.
The photograph issued with the statement shows a woman without eyes and wearing a bangle in her right hand. From the photograph, it looks as if it is golden. She is wearing a red trouser and a light pink sweater over her coloured Kashmir women shirt, the Firaq. She has a dark green and a black scarf as well. The photograph is too gory to be shared.
