protests erupted in Shahgund village of Hajin area of district Bandipora against the army for allegedly beating two teachers inside a tuition centre on Tuesday.
Reports said that forces thrashed two teachers who were teaching inside the government-run Super 50 coaching centre in Shah Gund village, triggering clashes between the government forces and youth.
As the news spread in the village, locals staged a protest against the army and observed a spontaneous shutdown.
