Following which Yasir, spokesman said addressed a public gathering in Kokernag area of Islamabad District wherein while paying tributes to 1993 martyrs, he said, “The aftermath and the delay or the compensatory justice granted to the victims of Armed forces has eroded the credibility of the Indian legal system in Kashmir,” Yasir said.

He said that the BSF men took firing positions on the main road like the battle and started firing upon civilian crowds which was another dark day in the history of Indian rule in Kashmir. He said India has never taken any concrete steps to address such pages of history which shows their non-seriousness regarding the Kashmir dispute.

Qazi Yasir, spokesman said asked the people to stay united and not fall prey to any agendas which may come in the future to divide the people of Kashmir on communal, sectarian or social lines. “We should unite and offer full support to South Kashmir preachers and Clerics Association,” he said and added that people of Kashmir have always stayed united despite endless efforts of vested interests to divide Kashmir people.
