SRINAGAR: Five persons were injured in different road accidents across the valley, police said.
In Budgam, a Scooty (JK04D-2209) collided with a motorcycle (JK04D-5775) at Wadipora, Budgam resulting in serious injuries to the motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Handwara, an unknown vehicle hit and injured a girl identified as Tahira Bano daughter of Abdul Khaliq Lone a resident of Waisa Kawnar near Government Degree College Handwara. The injured girl was shifted to District Hospital Handwara for treatment. Handwara police have registered a case and investigation has been taken up to nab the driver.
In Anantnag, a motorcycle (JK03D-9193) hit and injured a lady identified as Mubeena wife of Wali Mohammad Kumar a resident of Bidder, Kokernag at Peertakiya. The injured lady was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
Meanwhile, Vehicle Alto K-10 car (Jk03 C-1307) hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Dr Mohammad Yousuf Dar son of Ghulam Ahmad a resident of Panzgam Pulwama at Halmulla, Sangam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a motorcycle (DL-65AF -2693) hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh son-in-law of Ghulam Ahassan Koka resident of Seer at Seer Hamdan , Mattan. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Anantnag police has registered cases regarding these accidents.
