People Conference Legislator and MLA Kupwara Bashir Ahmad Dar on Friday asked the Chief minister Mehbooba to intervene in Kamran Yousuf case.
While speaking on the grants of Home department Dar urges the Mehbooba to personally take up the case of a photo Journalist Kamran Yousuf who was arrested by the NIA.
He said”It would be better if CM will intervene to get photojournalist (Kamran Yousuf) released so that he will live his life.”
Yousuf was detained by the Jammu and Kashmir Police on September 4. He was handed over to the NIA the next day.
He worked as an independent photojournalist with Kashmir leading daily, Greater Kashmir and Chandigarh based Gulistan News.
