SRINAGAR: Police said six persons were injured in road accidents across Kashmir on Thursday.

In Handwara, a motorcycle (PB11BC-9563) hit and injured a minor boy namely Amjad Khan resident of Deedikote in the jurisdiction of Police Station Villigam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.

In Anantnag, a Maruti car (JK01H-8566) driven by Amir Ali Shah resident of Dooru Arabal collided with a motorcycle (JK22-4952) ridden by Saif Ahmad Thoker resident of Waghama at National Highway near Marhama, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara for treatment, where from he was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.

In Ganderbal, a Maruti car (GA01R-7044) driven by Mudasir Ahmad Dar resident of Zakoora Srinagar turned turtle at National Highway near Drugtang, resulting in injuries to the driver. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kangan for treatment, where from he was shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.

Meanwhile, a Santro car (JK01J-0465) driven by Adil Khan Durani resident of Akilmir Khanyar Srinagar turned turtle at Nilgrath, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sonmarg, resulting in injuries to the driver and two other persons Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat resident of Drugmulla Kupwara and Munawar Amin Sofi resident of Naidyar Rainawari. All the injured were shifted to Public Health Centre Sonamarg for treatment, where from they have been shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.

Ganderbal police has registered cases regarding these accidents.
